2026 DT Evals and Writeups
Here is my DT tierlist that includes write ups on every player (besides a couple late rounders and Dontay Corleone) and comps will be made after the combine.
How do I Evaluate DTs
For DTs I changed the way I evaluated them this season. I think it’s best to evaluate players in the systems that fit them the best, as generally that's who will draft them. DT is more of a technical position, and it’s harder to make an instant impact. At the same time can see a lot of growth from years 1-3. Steeper development curve than Edges (disclaimer for Tier and Grades, they are generally where types of players get taken, I won’t argue if you value players more or less, as long as the Evals are similar enough.)
Pass Rush is King
Teams will draft high end athletes and pass rushers high. But for DTs the rules are different. Pass rushes are built mainly through the Edges. There may be like 5 DTs compared to around 25-ish Edges you can build a pass rush around. Part of it is the space issue. To create a 1 on 1 inside over a G or C, need to create space and hold the OL on either side away from the 1 on 1. It usually requires using 5 people in a rush, having a blitzer to force it or using a LB as a blitz threat to hold a OL enough to slow them from helping. Could try to force slides away from the matchup you want, but requires work and sometimes taking resources from the coverage to create it.
Way more work compared to Edges where you can line them up and have enough space for a 1 on 1 or a matchup set up on passing downs. DTs see a lot more 1 on 1s and matchups on early downs. Base pass rushes let the DT over the G have a 2 way go. But base pass rushes are used on more early and neutral downs. Even then the DTs with the 2 way go will default to Containing or Pushing the pocket as a majority of the time they are playing the run first and if they are in on early/neutral downs, most likely won’t be a quick winner and athletic enough to get to the qb on what is most likely gonna be quicker passes.
To see more base pass rushes…. have to be able to do work on early/neutral downs. Need to be able to get more snaps for more chances to get to rush. For the most part, on passing downs, teams will put out pass rushing packages where all 4 DL can contain the QB and have a lot of uses for team wise pass rush plans. It gets harder to be useful here for most DTs and teams will sometimes trot out 4 edges.
The best way to get snaps and to be useful is with that early/neutral down work and being able to be a roleplayer on pass rushes (contain, pocket pushing, stunting). A majority of DTs do roleplayer work on pass rushes. This is why I don’t care much for DPRs or pass rushers who are limited athletes and are bad on a majority of downs.
Traits or Technique?
DT is a position where from working in a confined space and having to play on early/neutral downs to get a lot of snaps…. technique matters more compared to Edges where you are working in space.
Athleticism matters, but it’s different inside. For pass rushing: Lateral Movement, Explosiveness, Strength/Power, Hip Fluidity, Ankle Flexion are all important. Speed doesn't matter as much to winning as you are in a confined space. There's a lot of fast DTs who don’t pan out. That lateral movement is a very important trait to winning. Being able to attack a G/C’s shoulder and then use that lateral quickness to end up in the opposite shoulder. Makes it harder for IOL to recover. Can use explosiveness to create speed to power or just pure strength to use power to win, like with bull rushes.
Lower body matters for finishing reps and turning the short corner. Being bigger means you are more likely to be stiffer overall, part of carrying more mass. The DTs that stand out are ones who have very fluid hips, flexible ankles, and are strong enough to play through contact when OL are recovering against them, and trying to drive them out.
Technique? Pass rush technique and handfighting matters more inside. Mainly due to getting to winning positions inside leads to a shorter corner to turn vs the edge, where there’s a lot more room for OTs to recover.
Against the run…. the next section will talk about this more, but there are more reacting and attacking fronts. Reacting fronts focus more on size, power, reaction, strength, flexibility and/or length. Attacking fronts focus more on explosiveness, overall athleticism, balance, fluidity, and/or power (can come from explosiveness). Technique and reading blocks, as well as reacting is all important but can be taught
It's why NTs can come out of nowhere and become solid NTs in their 30s or why random DTs will develop and see massive improvements. Also why RAS and athleticism doesn’t matter that much. Ton of R1 athletes and high RAS guys who flame out because they either didn’t have the functional athleticism, lacked the technical parts and don't develop, or become limited players from lacking on early/neutral downs.
Attacking Vs Reacting
The new thing I'm doing is separating DT buckets into if they fit more in a Attack/React or React/Attack front. But what do these mean? They can be used in Odd fronts (3-4) or even fronts (4-3), and can be ran in different looks. This mainly affects how you play on early/neutral downs.

(Link to a twitter thread with examples)
Attacking/React: Boom or Bust playstyle. These fronts have DTs in heavier stances, more weight on their front hand to fire out quicker. Hands first Feet second. More playing gaps and trying to create penetration. Less reading for the DTs, just be an athlete and react late. Usually keying ball (More stress on LBs/DBs). Some attacking Examples include: Even Fronts: Browns, Niners, Texans
Odd: Cowboys, Packers
College: Miami, Texas Tech, Indiana
React/Attack: A more consistent playstyle. These fronts are in lighter and more even stances. More about setting the line of scrimmage and reading blocks. Have to play more laterally. Feet first Hands second. More reading for DTs, keying OL (more stress on DL). Some Reacting front examples include
NFL: Colts, Bengals, Chargers, Saints, Lions, Jets, Seattle
College: Bama, Georgia, Oregon
The Reacting or Attacking playstyles give a lot of insight on who teams want. For example, the Chargers wanted a NT, got the best reacting NT in Caldwell. Niners wanted a NT, got an attacking one in CJ West. Teams will care about this as it affects what you run. Teams won’t care if the player is very talented, for those high end prospects… just take em and build around them. The scheme matters more for later 1st round type of picks or later. And roles can change things. If a team needs a DPR or certain body types/roles, they may go after that too.
Tiers
So now what do these tiers mean? The tiers represent how useful these players are and how much snaps they deserve (projected for first 4-5 years)
Generational: Sure fire prospect you should build a pass rush around and have a high end impact from, 75%+ snaps, Ndomakung Suh, Aaron Donald (more of a hindsight thing)
Top 5/Bluechip: High end prospect you can build a pass rush around with a high end impact, 60%+ snaps, Quinnen Williams, Jalen Carter, Derrick Brown
Top 20: Great prospect with traits to be useful in every type of situation. Scheme doesn't matter much, high end roleplayer, 50%+ snaps, Mason Graham, Kenneth Grant, Walter Nolan, Jordan Davis, Byron Murphy
1st/Early 2nd round: Good prospect who is useful in starter level snaps, scheme doesn't matter as much, high end roleplayer, 50%+ snaps, Christian Barmore, Devonte Wyatt, Keeanu Benton
Day 2: Solid prospect who can play starter level snaps. Scheme dependant, a little role dependant, great roleplayer 40-60% snaps, Ruke Orhorhoro, T’vondre Sweat, Braden Fiske, Davon Hamilton
Late day 2/early day 3: Okay prospect who can be a low end starter and great rotational player. Scheme and more role dependant, good roleplayer, 35-55% of snaps, Adetomiwa Adeboware, Bobby Brown, Jordan Elliott
Day 3: Fine prospect who can be a good rotational piece, very scheme and role dependent, where limited/pure NTs and DPRs start to be found, solid roleplayers, 25-40% of snaps, Tyler Davis, Jowonn Briggs, Roy Lopez
Late day 3/PFA: meh prospects who can be rotational players, very scheme and role dependant, useful on limited snaps, 10-35% of snaps, insert late day 3 player
Potential Ufl/WWE: nice way of saying good luck to making a team. With how DTs are… they have a much better shot of becoming real players compared to Edges. So keep chasing your dreams DTs.
Writeups format
The writeups are generally formatted by what they played in college and the system, then how they defend double teams and the run, then athleticism and pass rushing. Ending with what scheme most likely fits them the best and grade.
Generational
Sadly None, need a new one soon
Top 5/Blue chip
None again
Top 20
None again
1st/Early 2nd
Peter Woods
JR 11 Clemson
Attacking DT, played across the line (did some edge stuff in 2024)
Okay vs doubles, can sink low and throw hips into them, just too small and pad level higher from attacking mode
Plays smaller, can get moved more than you'd want from a DT
Great hips, generates a lot of power from them and can get good knockback
Sheds very violently, great at using momentum and leverage, solid hand placement
So much slants and stunts, leads to higher pad level from reading stunts and moving gaps. Not too worried about that
Good pass rusher
Strong club and crossface, main move
Good lateral movement and speed/explosiveness
Fluid hips and flexibility in hips/ankles
can turn the short corner well inside and even off the edge.
Legit stunter and contain player, can push the pocket well enough.
Doesnt have high end traits though
Would be better as an attacking DT, but talented enough to not care. Can use em as a 3-4 DE who plays 3T/5T and even front DT.
Round 1/Early day 2 type of prospect
Stronger Javon Hargrave/Osa ?
Kayden Mcdonald
JR 98 Ohio State
Attacking DT who played a lot of 0T/2T
hate to say this but he's not good at the technical stuff....... still has more room to grow!!!
From playing a more attacking style, pad level gets high because more focused on movement and engaging first
Can get wrecked by doubles because too focused on reading the backfield, feels doubles late
Ends up on the ground more often than you'd like
Just very stout overall, and can recover well in bad positions
A Center destroyer, wrecks em with ease
Can 2 gap well, gets great vision in the backfield
Knockback is inconsistent, can be great at times, especially on the move
But from moving and playing tall, doesnt always shoot hips through
Can shed really well with inside control, hip tosses dudes.
Inconsistent shedding because he drops his hands down and doesnt play with much extension (part of 2 gapping too much)
1 gapping and hitting backdoors is nice
Not easy to reach
Great at reading blocks initially and reacting to them after attacking.
Knows how to attack blocks he sees, crossfaces on downblocks well
Also very strong
Pass rushing wise nice at role player stuff
Can push the pocket, especially when over the C. Drives em back with ease
Solid slant steps and runs stunts well
Very nimble lower body, hips fluid.
More of an Attacking NT who can 2 gap. Can just plug em into a odd front as a NT as well. Have em destroy Centers and develop em more
1st round/early day 2 type of player
Day 2
Caleb Banks
SR 88 Florida
Not that explosive
Okay lateral movement and slants
Has to hesi a lot to make up for lack of high end movement
Kinda strong, lengthy and has size
Only knows how to push and pull, and uses a spin reactively
Tries to backdoor everything against the run
More suited for attack/react d rn, but has the size to be better at react attack
Good reaction, reads blocks well.
Hand placement is inconsistent, gives up chest a lot cause he just wants to push and pull dude.
Not great vs doubles cause too tall and technical issue. Can also get pushed more than you'd like
Stunts are okay, fine contain player.
Still kinda rawish
Day 2 type prospect, low end starter with solid starter potential.
2015 Jordan Phillips vibes
Lee Hunter
SR 2 Texas Tech
Attacking DT who plays between mainly 1T/2i
Good vs doubles, can sink low and throw hips into em
Always has eyes in backfield, can get killed by doubles from not seeing them in his peripheral
Great slanting and stunting
Doesnt shoot hips through that well
Strong as an ox though
Great at using OLs momentum against them to push/pull them
Great at hitting the backdoor on run plays and hitting the backside
Not the best at reading blocks
Way too often reading the RB and working to em instead
Can push the pocket well
Good stunter and solid contain player from NT
Mainly push/pulls as a rusher
Solid lateral movement, but a bit stiff
Gonna be a good attacking front NT
Day 2 type of player
Late Day 2/Early Day 3
Dominique "Big Citrus" Orange
SR 95 Iowa State
NT type
Strong and good reaction
Great vision in backfield
Great knockback and lockout
Can 2 gap very well
Struggles vs doubles, especially horizontal combos
Cant sink low vs them, but can throw hips into them well.
Tries to out strength them.
Great at having vision on QBs as contain player
Throws hands around, works well in space and keeps handfighting.
Pocket pushing not great, hand placement and leverage issue (focused too much on getting hands up for PBU)
Does so much cardio every game
Good slant step
More of a reacting NT
Late day 2/early day 3 range
Tyler Onyedim
SR 11 Texas AnM
Lighter DT
Can play between 5T-2i
Solid strength and athlete
Solid react/attack
Can get solid knockback
Sheds well with 34' arms
Lighter and can get moved at times
Inconsistent with leverage/hand timing
Late to get hands in OL at times (playing react mode)
Way too iffy vs doubles
Solid enough pass rusher.
Club swim, spin, club rips
Fine at getting to winning positions, stiff ankles and being light made it hard to turn short corner, easy to recover against
Neat stunter and contain player
Rn more of a reacting DT who can be better in attacking role
Late Day 2/Early Day 3 range
Jonathan Bullard?
Albert 'Regigigas' Regis
SR 17 Texas AnM
Was a NT
Could 2 gap well, gets lockout peeks and shed
Can take on doubles/combos solidly, great at sinking low vs em
After contact from double, establishes great leverage and hand placement
Good vision in backfield (reads RB while 2 gapping)
Okay knockback, misses with hand timing and can lose control of blocks
Can get moved more than you'd like, lighter NT
Can scoot and has some athleticism.
Solid slant step
More of a role player pass rusher
Can push pocket, strong clubs, stunt
Not as useful for obvious passing downs
More of a react/attack NT with some attack/react potential
Late day 2/early day 3
Greg Gaines?
Zxavian Harris
SR 51 Ole Miss
Reacting front, played mainly over Gs (2i-3T) and some 5T. Lotta stunts and slants
Not bad vs doubles, can sink decently for a very tall player and throw hips into them.
Too tall to keep good leverage
But strong enough to get good lockout and can shoot hips through solidly
Solid reaction and great backfield vision
Too tunnel visioned, so overfocuses on RBs, late to seeing blocks/doubles
Not easy to reach
Really nice 1 gapping and backdooring on blocks
Very nimble and balanced in tight spaces.
Downs and doubles can destroy em from being too tall.
Solid role player pass rusher. Can push the pocket (even from edge) and great at running stunts.
Constantly works moves
But vs run and pass, when in a slightly bad position, tries to spin out of it every single time
Can do reacting stuff, would be better as a attacking DT.
Late day 2/early 3 range
Tim Keenan iii
SR 96 Alabama
Reacting front DT who mainly played over Gs (2i/2t) did some 0T, 1T and 4i
Can sink vs doubles and throw hips into them
Late to feel doubles/combos, doesnt create any knockback to split them, can get wrecked at times. Potential to be good vs them
Good reacting, plays more laterally rather than getting knockback
Not great at shooting hips through on contact, few reps he does it looks good. Has to be more stout
Good backfield vision
Great at crossfacing and reading blocks out
Not easy to reach.
Good slant step and at reading run stunts.
Constantly hand fights and keeps a good distance from OL.
Can push pocket well when he does shoot his hips.
Solid contain player who get vision on qb
Reacting NT who can scoot enough to be an attacking NT. Has more development to go.
Late day 2/early day 3 type of NT
Gracen Halton
SR 56 Oklahoma
Reacting front DT, played 0T, 2i,2T,3T
Not good vs doubles, can sink low vs them but late to feel them
Doesnt have a lot of strength/power himself, didnt shoot hips through as much when engaging with blocks, little knockback from more reacting mode
Great at shooting gaps, can generate so much power on the move especially when slanting.
Great slanter overall
Hard to reach. Slants/stunts a lot vs the run.
Spin move and club-swims
Mainly was asked to slant/stunt and contain, even contained outside of tackles a lot
So great at setting up stunts and running them as a crasher and looper.
Lower body pretty fluid, a bit flexible. Very Few reps of playing through contact to see.
Few Reps getting real rushes in overall, has more room to grow as a 1 on 1 pass rusher
Can push pocket/penetrate with his athleticism.
Should be more of an attacking front DT that can be useful on passing downs as a container/stunter
Late Day2/Early Day 3 beats
Tyson Alualu?
Nick Barrett
SR 93 South Carolina
Played between 1T/2T/2i/3T in an attacking front
Bigger body that can handle doubles well. Can sink a bit, and get skinny to split them. Little inconsistent to react because of attacking mode
Leans forward a lot when engaging but doesnt always bring his hips through
Still very strong though and stout
So hard to move, can generate a ton of knockback and stop OL in their tracks
Gets good control of blocks, can shed very violently
Good slant step and can scoot a bit
Good stunter
Club-crossface, push pulls
Solid athlete overall. Lateral movement is good for his size
Hip fluidity is nice, lower body flexibility is solid
Attacking NT, can do a little on pass plays
Late Day 2/Early day 3
Dontay Corleone
Christian Miller
JR 52 Georgia
Reacting DT who played 0T/2T/2i/4i
Neat vs doubles. Can sink low and drop his knee vs them.
Reads blocks really great. Good reaction
Does a great job of getting good handplacement and control of blocks
Uses OL leverage against them well to push/pull them
Not great at getting knockback/shooting hips through
Gets good leverage and bench presses blockers instead.
Good stunters and slanter
Always in a frog stance, makes slant steps easier.
Club and rips/swims
Okay lateral movement
Not that explosive or quick
Great at setting up and running stunts
Reacting DT, does a lot well overall.
Late day 2/early day 3
Day 3
Bryson Eason
SR 20 Tennessee
Attacking NT? (Played between 0T and 4i, across the line)
Few reps of reacting to doubles, cause playing a lot of attack/react
Good slant step, can scoot a lil
Reacting seems fine enough
Strong and can generate good knockback
Plays too fast and unbalanced, lot of reps where he gets crumpled and on the ground
Strong club and works well crossfacing OL when they overset.
Solid stunter, good slanter, decent pocket push.
Okay reading QB's eyes.
More of an attacking DT
Day 3 type player
Carlos Allen Jr
SR 5 Houston
Mainly NT (0T, 2i, 4i)
Mainly slanted and stunted, and did more attacking vs reacting
Can sink low vs doubles, just very light and can get moved by them.
Has good leverage, inconsistent hand placement, solid reaction
Great at shooting hips through on contact
Push and pulls good
Really good slant steps
Stiffer lower body and hops a bit too much.
Short and stubby
Swipes, club and swims
Lateral movement is okay.
Can scoot a little
More of an attacking DT, small for a NT though
Day 3 type DT
Darrell Jackson Jr.
SR 6 Florida State
Reacting DT who mainly played over Gs (2i-3T) or 0T
Not great vs doubles, struggles to sink low or throw hips into them, constantly late with reactions
Has size so can have decent reps with iffy technique.
Gets reached and downblock way too easy
Very strong, one of the strongest players in the class and very lengthy
Struggles to get control of blocks, extension, and struggles to shed.
Hard to get leverage to shoot hips though, pops up a lot and tries to bench press OL
Can 2 gap okay, just issues shedding/lockout
Just need WD-40 in lower body joints
Can toss dudes aside like nothing when things are done right and get crazy knockback, rarely happens tho
Stiffness issue leads to him being on the ground quite a bit too
Very slow and lumbering mover.
Mainly bull rushes and push and pulls.
Lateral movement is very slow
Stiffness makes it easy to recover against, but strong enough vs contact.
Okay stunter and pocket pusher
Mainly projects as a reacting DT/NT type
Day 3 prospect
Demonte Capehart
SR 19 Clemson
Attacking DT
Mainly ran TT stunts and slants
Not good vs doubles, struggles to sink low, gets blown off the ball consistently
Gets quite a bit of knockback at times. Gets solid leverage and hand placement
Fairly quick and athletic
Can contain well, stunt, and push the pocket.
Useful enough DPR
More of a true attacking DT with DPR ability.
Day 3 type of player
Chris Mcclellan
SR 7 Mizzou
Mainly an attacking even front NT, played a lot of 2i/2T/3T
okay vs doubles, has enough size to be stout enough
Struggles to sink low but can throw hips into em well
Gets lockout good, but very little pop
Too stiff to stay low, cant shoot hips through when engaging
Good at hip tossing OL out the way and torquing them.
Attacking mode so usually gets hands inside first, when he doesnt gets wrecked easily
Catches blocks more often than you'd like
Gets reached a little easily
Good backfield vision, but overplays staying in his initial gap
Good handfighting, does a great job of resetting hands and working in space
Loves to push pull, swipes, swim, and get to a hump move working inside.
Does a great job at attacking different sets/punches, punishes bad technique
Bad athlete, very little explosiveness
Not fast, has some strength but iffy flexibility limits his use.
Very stiff lower body and little lateral explosiveness, hard to attack space with traits
Easy to recover vs em and drive em upfield.
Weird player because more of an attacking even front NT, but very limited athlete. Not athletic enough to be a DPR or legit roleplayer on passing downs
Can become a reacting front DT but needs work
Day 3 type of DT
Skylar Gill-Howard
SR 0 Texas Tech
Attacking DT played 4i/3T/1t
Small bean
Okay vs doubles, has natural leverage and can sink low
Too small and can get moved a lot by them
Generates a lot of power with explosiveness.
Not great at getting knockback, but has good hand placement and sheds violently
Hip tosses OL to the ground
Can get moved a lot though if he doesnt win the leverage battle
Really fast, good stunter and slanter
Double swipes, cross chops, and a HUMP MOVE!!!
Can be a good contain player, and stunter on passing downs
Attacking DT with some DPR use
Day 3 type
Rayshaun Benny
SR 26 Michigan
Reacting DT who played between 4i/3T/2i
Okay vs doubles, a bit too small

Reads blocks well, doesnt always get great knockback
Good hand placement and gets control of blocks well
Sheds violently
Good at reading the backfield
Good stunter, solid slanter
Tries a few moves, but always hits them too close to the OL and doesnt attack half a man well
Okay lateral movement, solid athleticism
Good container as a DT.
More of a even Reacting front DT
Day 3 Type player
Kris Jenkins Jr Jr.?
Kaleb Proctor
SR 2 SE Louisiana
Attacking DT
Very fast and quick, slants and stunts a lot
Okay vs doubles when he shoots gaps.
Very small and can get tossed around like a ragdoll at times
Hard to reach. Can generate power/knockback with speed.
Quick slant step and stunts
Double swipes
Very quick and athletic, lower body is fluid.
Attacking DT, more of a DPR early on...... maybe some potential 🤔
Day 3 type of shot
Tywone Malone Jr
SR 95 Ohio State
Attacking DT
NGL too lazy to writeup, last player I watched, he's a solid rotational DT
Day 3 type of DT
Late Day 3/PFA
Landon Robinson
SR 96 Navy
Did a lot of movements, played across the DL (between 3T-0)
Had moments vs doubles. Sinks very low, can drop knee and get good leverage
Small so gets demolished when technique isn't perfect
Fine vs base blocks, gets washed easily and gets reached easily.
Stunted a lot, good looper and slant step
Lateral movement lacking when pass rushing.
Stiffer lower body
Swipes, chops, club rips.
Okay working in space, gets moved easily by strong enough contact.
Solid container

Lotta attack/react and shooting gaps
Gets destroyed vs Double Teams
Can sink low vs them, too small

Does fine getting lockout, constantly fights for hand position
Gets moved off the ball so easily vs base blocks and downs blocks
Good slant step
Club and rips, swipes
Lateral movement is fine
Good looper, solid contain player
Hips fluid and can sink low
Stiff ankles and lack of strength make it easy to recover against
Attacking DT who will be a DPR
Late day 3 type player
Aaron Graves
SR 95 Iowa
Did a bit of both reacting and attacking
Played between 1T-3T mainly
Solid vs doubles
Can drop his knee vs them and does a good job of getting skinny between them
Reacts well to them and holds his own
Great at getting lockout, strong player, but not much knockback
Good at push and pulling players and does the right thing a lot
Can two gap okay
Really iffy backfield vision, reads blocks well, but issues seeing/feeling what's happening behind the OL.
Lacks a lot of talent.
When technique isnt great, gets killed, little room for error.
Can get reached easily (mainly asked to lag, but when not.... iffy here)
Can get pancacked and destroyed when he messes up slightly.
As a Rusher lack of talent stands out
Mainly contains and reads the QB or the Edge to make up for em
Does great job of getting his hands in the QBs vision
Not explosive, slow, lacks real power, bad lateral mover.
When he gets to winning positions very easy to recover against
Too stiff in the ankles and hips area, gets moved easily when trying to rush
Spins late, club rips, push pulls.
More of a run defending DT, should be more of a reacting DT, lacks talent for an attacking front.
Late Day 3/PFA type player

Reacting NT, mainly played between 0T-2i
Really Good reaction, squatty
Fine enough vs doubles from natural leverage and stance. Not great sinking low but good at throwing hips into them. Stout enough vs them

Crossface and rocks back really well, good at reacting to blocks and doing the right things
Good work at eyeing qb and getting hands up.
Solid slanter and stunter

Late to react though, holds onto blocks/positions longer than he has too
Gets destroyed a little too often
Can scoot a bit, neat at one gapping and slanting

Can shoot hips through decently
Gets reached easily, good vs base blocks and down blocks
Can scoot a little, solid stunter and contain player
Decent reacting NT, dont want em facing doubles as often, mainly just over C
Late day 3/pfa player
Jordan Van Den Berg
SR 99 Georgia Tech
Attacking DT who player between 0T-3T
So much shooting gaps
Okay vs doubles, mainly can sink low and creates separation when he 1 gaps
At the same time.... gets pancacked like 10+ times a game
Part of it is from being very uncoordinated, a bit weak and lacks power, and when he engages he leads with his head.
So much issues that can hurt him making it on a team
Can scoot well, and has a fluidish lower body and flexibility. Good club and swim.
Can be an attacking DT but a lot of work to do. I like em a lot
Late day 3/PFA type DT

Jackie Marshall
SR 0 Baylor
Idk where to list em but i guess maybe he should be a DT
Most of tape seen he was at Edge mainly
Just little pop, only violent vs pullers.
Gets reached easy and can get tossed around a lil
Bad athlete at edge
Has a strong club
Lowe body too unathletic, and stiff and all that to do much with it
Tries hard
Maybe more of an attacking DT?
Potential UFL tier
Aaron Hall

Potential UFL
James Thompson Jr
SR 90 Illinois
Reacting Defense, mainly played between 4i-2i, 0T a few times
Plays very tall
Struggles to get low vs doubles, gets killed routinely by them unless in very even stance as a 0T.
Way too stiff lower body, gets moved easily on downblocks.
Gets fine extension/lockout
reaction speed a little lacking, okay backfield vision
Meh slanter/stunter
club and swimmer
Has a little push/power. lateral movement isnt good
Easy to recover against.
Eyes QB okay.
More of a reacting DT
UFL type player
Kahlil Saunders
SR 92 Kentucky

Gets blown off the ball by doubles
Can sink low but a but weak
Not bad slanting and stunting
Can scoot a bit

Gets lockout fine
Okay contain player
Attacking DT
Potential UFL
Jahmeer Carter
SR 90 Virginia
Played for a reacting front
Not great vs doubles
Struggles to get low or throw hips into doubles
Struggled moving and shedding off of blocks
Strong and can get knockback, stalemated base blocks well
Doesnt add anything as a pass rusher
Potential UFL
David Blay Jr
SR 11 Miami
Attacking NT, played 1T, 2i, 2T
Gets killed consistently vs the run. Gets moved so easily, doubles are yeesh
